I work for a law firm in scotland with three sites, we have constant problems with our IP calls being disrupted by packet loss.

All sites are conected at 2mb 1:1 contention, whats the best way to get them most out of the equipment?

If I understand correctly, you have 2 Mb (upstream & downstream) connection. I'd guess this is some kind of VDSL, xDSL...?

Have you tried making video calls at low speeds i.e. 192 kb/s, 256 kb/s ?

If pocket loss still occurs even at low speeds, the IP link hasn't sufficient quality, or the IP link is constantly congested because of heavy usage (internet download,...).

Based on your info this is all I can advise. When you post some more, I'm sure, folks on this forum will be able to advise you...
