Video Codec Resolutions

Hi guys,

Can anyone tell me how different is an AVI resolution to an HD resolution. and, which is the Video Protocol which is more close to AVI format.

hi,
if you mean an *.avi file you can´t compare things, ´cause avi is a container file format which can hold a lot of encoded video material, whereas HD resolution is a physical term to describe screen or CCD camera resolutions.
