Tandberg MCU upgrade question

I currently have a Tandberg MCU with option key for 8+8, IP-only. I'd like to add ISDN capability to the MCU. Is that simply a new software option key, or is there a hardware upgrade involved as well?

No new hardware, it is just an option key.
