KIV-7 Error Code 98

Anyone know what this means? It's been working fine for months. We move to a new building, check the unclass side.. ALL good. Go to the secure side and the Kiv-7 gives us this code.

It's a 'non-fatal' message that locks up the KIV; clear it with a power cycle (just use the CIK) and drive on. Does it happen every time you use secure mode?

This error in my experience has normally had something to do with your battery life. Try changing the batteries and see if you still get the error.

Error 98 is the key generator alarm. I have seen it often when you lose the black i/o signaling.
