I need AMX help!!!!!!!Please!!!!!

Good Morning All,
It's a real Monday for me. I have a 15in AMX touch panel that seems to have lost its calibration. I had powered it down from the power cord and brought it back up while keeping a finger on it to bring it up to the setup screen. It is intermittently letting me get into to calibrate it but when it does it will only respond to the first "test touch" (the plus symbol). Please help is there something else I can do to bring this up? Thx Q

Ok, just dumb questions.. :confused:

Did you try swapping out cords or reseating them perhaps it has a loose connection.

Is there some other piece of electronic equipment nearby that is causing interference?

Hey QBee
The AMX calibration feature is an internal part of the touch panel itself, the cable coming out of it is for power and connectivity to the main frame.
If there is a battery in the touch panel to you will have to pull it out as well then try to recalibrate it. Also try using a soft point tip instead of your finger this sometimes has worked for me in the pass.
If this does not work you will have to get it repaired by a AMX dealer.

Thanks guys, for your help. All has been tried to no avail. This thing has totally whacked itself out. Because of how critical this part is we can't afford the time for repair. The customer is just going to replace...Thx again! :happy:

Q-Bee it is most likely the CF card going faulty, and needs to be sent back to AMX for repair
