I have a handful of Polycom ViewStations in my network, registering to a Tandberg Gatekeeper. Occasionally, one of the ViewStations loses its registration. The following message appears in the GK log:
Jan 18 05:54:00 ACI Omaha Gatekeeper local0.notice gk: Event="Registration Removed" Reason="Endpoint unresponsive" Dst-ip=172.19.17.22 Dst-port=2053 Dst-alias=H323:ACI Omaha Silicon Prairie Dst-alias=E164:10270 Detail="Registration was not refreshed in time and endpoint failed to respond to IRQ" Protocol=UDP Level=1 Time=2008-01/18 11:54:00
I'm not able to find any other indications of problems, with the endpoint, gatekeeper or network. Besides the endpoint now being unreachable, this situation also causes the gatekeeper to resolve E.164 addresses to the wrong end points. Once the end point is re-booted and re-registered, everything is back to normal.
There does not seem to be any pattern to this, except it always occurs with my Polycom ViewStations. I've checked parameters and can't find anything that seems to apply to resolve this issue. Has anyone out there encountered this? I'm stumped...
Thanks in advance!
