Hi All,
Does anyone have any info as to whether the TVS will eventually allow 2 sources connected to it to be transmitted to the codec simultaneously? Will it be possible or is there a hardware limitation?
Cheers, Glen
Hello.
Only one source (camera) on the TVS can be active simultaneously.
Hopefully this will change sometime and allow us to use 2 streams from TVS.

But i do think it's possible to send out 2 camera source simultaneously by using the dual video. main stream u can send ur main cam image, dual stream to send 2nd HD cam image.
I think you can get a clearer picture if you read the installation sheet of the Tandberg video swtich.

I assure you it's not possible. The bus connecting the TVS to the Dataport on the Codec is only capable currently of carrying one camera signal at a time. Whether this is a hardware limitation however, or just the way it's implemented at the moment is what will determine whether transmission of dual sources will be possible in the future.
I wouldn't be asking the question if I hadn't researched this fully.
Hi.
With F6.2 SW you can only have 1 stream from TVS active.
You can't send dual stream from TVS to the codec. Second stream can be from other video inputs on the codec itself (DVI, doc-cam, ...), but not from the TVS.
