No it's not possible to attach a TANDBERG Precision HD camera to the 990MXP.

The only models supporting the HD cam is the Edge 9*, 3000MXP(not the early models though) and 6000MXP.

Hmm... well you can connect a TANDBERG HD cam to the DVI input using a HDMI-DVI cable, however you are not able to control the camera in any way... so I see no practical use for it.
