Capex Failed

Hi Folks,

I've been trying to make a call via an IPVCR to an ISDN site, but keep getting this 'capex failed' message. The unit i'm dialling from is a Tandberg 880MXP, it's irrelevant the endpoint being connected to, I've tried several!

So basically What does Capex error mean??? :confused:

Hi,

This basically means the EP is not negotiating CapSet correctly thus the endpoint returns a "CapEx" error. There could be several reasons for this but one I see the most is h.239 issues. Try disabling h.239 and see if this makes a difference.
