A friend of mine called and asked for some help with the aformentioned equipment. It is setup at a school and they want to be able to move it to other rooms without having to move the network patch, since it is currently hanging directly off their SMC (Comcast Business provided) cable modem/router. So I thought no problem - just punch some holes through the firewall and off we go - WRONG. After trying to get it to work unsucessfully, I wound up calling Sonicwall and they suggested upgrading the firmware on the TZ-170. So I did that and it still doesn't work. The interesting thing is that after beating myself up over this I used the wizard and tried to punch a hole through for remote desktop and I was not able to get to that either. What am I doing wrong? I have TCP 3230-3235 and UDP 3230-3253 open as well as TCP 1720.

I have seen a few Sonicwalls where "H.323 transformations" had to be turned off if a gatekeeper was not being used.
