Quick question. why do you want to do 4cif?

I think you can transit 4Cif when you set 'Video Quality' --> 'Main Camera' to Sharpness.

I having the same question with tonyi. Why do you need to set to 4Cif?

its was more out of curiosty than anything else. I'd prefer 4cif over 448 because its a higher resolution. I prefer it over 720p because at 512k we get lip sync issues using 720p. we use the 4cif resolution on our 3000's and its a very good picture.

kekfoong.. when i switch to sharpness it forces me to 720p.

i know i can force the codec to do 4cif if the call is set up that way on a bridge. but id just like to get 4cif point to point. Any more suggestions?

4CIF is a 4:3 image, while 448p is a 16:9 image (more native to the PHD camera and screens used today). We believe 448p actually has a better image. The difference in lines of resolution is only 480 vs 448, but the quality of 448p is better.

Dyntae, you can try dialing to your counterpart with lower bandwaidth and set your camera setting to sharpness. Think you will be able to get what you want.
