Polycom VSX8000 firmware upgrade?

Hi All

We have various Polycom vsx 8000/6000 around the building and i want to upgrade its firmware, i've checked on Polycom's website and am aware that they have a new and up to date firmware available. Can someone please tell me how I can carry out the upgrade over IP?

Hi.
This is very easy.
1. You must download new Software 8.7.1 for VSX8000 and file Release Notes on Polycom website (http://www.polycom.com/usa/en/support/video/vsx_series/vsx8000_series.html)
2. You must download new Retrieve Your Upgrade Key Code on web site: http://extranet.polycom.com/psp/ps/EMPLOYEE/EMPL/c/P_PRC_NAV.P_CFS_KEYC_GEN.GBL
You fill in Serial number of VSX8000 and Version 8.71 then click Retrieve Icon.
3. You run file software downloaded and and follow by step. This is very easy.
