Our organization has just purchased a Cisco video conf mcu, gateway, and gatekeeper (cisco 2811 router). I'm trying to do a "ad hoc" IP video endpoint connection with another endpoint in a seperate private subnet. However, I get "destination unreachable" error on the mcu.
I have configured the gatekeeper (router) to "route" to this network. Firewall going to this subnet is allowing video/voice to pass through because prior to installing the mcu, I was able to connect, endpoint camera to endpoint camera. And, via the gatekeeper (router), I can ping items in this seperate private subnet.
Both endpoints are using Polycom, one Viewstation 512 MP and one VSX7000.
Is a port (used by the mcu) not open on the firewall? Is the router not configured correctly? (firewall is off on the router). Or, is there a specific method I need to do to call these endpoints for an Ad Hoc call?
Please help me.
Thank you very much!!!!!!
