Taurus Technologies is an innovative Audio Visual commercial integrator based in the Dallas/Fort Worth area with customers throughout the country. We are seeking self-motivated candidates looking to work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment with an interest in growing their career with a dynamic organization.
• Program and design control systems for commercial applications (boardrooms, video conferencing rooms, classrooms, training rooms, auditoriums, etc.) using AMX control systems.
• Utilize existing designs and templates as well as work on improving them and building new ones.
• Test, troubleshoot and debug programs/control systems.
• Travel to job sites and/or remotely support technicians/customers for system completion and support service.
• Assist installers, if necessary, in installations as well as educate up and coming AMX Programmers in the art of control system development.
• At least 1 year experience in programming advanced control (preferably commercial) systems with Netlinx Studio and Design Studio.
• A strong ability to read/interpret AutoCAD/Visio drawings and have excellent AV knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
• Must have intimate knowledge with as many of the following as possible: Extron, Kramer, AutoPatch, Polycom (audio and video), Tandberg, LifeSize, Clear One, Lutron, Plasmas and Projectors, Crestron and AMX AV gear.
• Strong grasp of audio distribution, video distribution and switching. A good understanding of audio conferencing and video conferencing is a must.
• Excellent organizational skills, oral and written communications skills, time management skills, and the ability to multitask is part of the job.
• AMX ACE certifications and any CTS certifications are a great plus but not mandatory.
