How does TMS know what type of system its connected too? We have 8000 MXPs that have the codecs replaced that now show up as codecs not as systems. Can this be changed? If so, how. Thanks

Yes, each system has a key entered into it called a Product Key that defines what sort of system/codec it is. Sounds like when you had the codecs replaced, TANDBERG did not put the key in for you or you got replacements from a dealer etc that does not have the capability to change the product key (only TANDBERG does).

Call TANDBERG technical services (or your dealer) and get them to handle the problem. They should give you a key that you enter through the API (RS232 or telnet).
