View Full Version : Tandberg MPS with Cisco Unified Video Advantage

I've got an issue with my VT Advantage systems (2.1) not negotiating H.264 capabilities correctly with my MPS 200 (4.2).

Connectivity to endpoints works ok (negotiates at H.263 even though Cisco claims H.264 compatibility.) With the MPS, I can only get video if I connect VT Advantage systems BEFORE any Tandberg endpoints. If I connect other endpoints first (at H.264) the VT Advantage video flakes out sending and receiving.

The fix I have found is to set my conference template in the MPS to a legacy level of "8" (No H.264) and everything works fine.

Anyone else have experience with Tandbergs and VT Advantage?

It may be related to a Cisco bug we found where even though they support H.264, they are not tolerant of wide screen capabilities.
