Assistant Manager, Multimedia Services

JOB OVERVIEW

− Oversee the daily operations of the department, including researching new technologies for more efficient operations and assisting with the review/revision of departmental procedures and operations

− Manages all aspects of videoconferencing system operations, including scheduling, testing, connection and monitoring

− Organize and administer the pick-up and delivery of audio/visual loaner equipment

− Research, evaluate and advise on the purchase of computer, multimedia and digital presentation equipment/software; troubleshoot and advise on repair of such equipment

− Oversee the development and production of educational/training programs for users of departmental systems and equipment

REQUIREMENTS:

− 3 years of multimedia production experience

− Familiarity with IP based videoconferencing systems (Tandberg, PolyCom, Lifesize) & associated software, including ability to troubleshoot all platforms & operating systems

− Strong knowledge of videoconferencing equipment and protocols, including the ability to maintain equipment and software, troubleshoot problems, and recommend purchases

− Proficient with MS Office; knowledge of Adobe Photoshop strongly preferred; knowledge of Illustrator and Macromedia Flash a plus.

− Strong interpersonal communication skills to interface with all levels of ENH staff, as well as good writing skills

− Strong leadership skills with the ability to provide training and develop skills; management experience helpful

− Bachelor’s Degree in Communication or related field preferred or the equivalent combination of experience
