Trying to bond two 64k channels through an Adtran 2x64, into a Scotty I-split, out two Inmarsat M-4 Terminals. I can get the first channel to connect no problem, but when the adtran calls the second number, i get Unassigned Number error, and in the status log its showing an extra digit in the phone number. I've had other users dial into the same numbers and connect no problem, it appears to be a problem in the adtran 2x64. Tried swapping adtrans, i-splits, and even the tandberg itself. Any suggestions?

Gotta ask the dumb head-space ?s:

Q. Does the Adtran give you 'Ready' on those lines?

Q. Does the issue follow the ISDN line if you change #2 to #1?

Q. Is the suspect ISDN line provisioned for out-bound service?

Q. Stare & compare of DTE 1 & 2 are similar?

We don't get "Ready" on the 2x64, usually we get "Euro ISDN Ready" or "Disconnected". The problem does persist on both channels 1 & 2. We've tried so many different settings in the adtran, we've made both channels identical, we've changed DTE 1 to clear channel while leaving DTE 2 at Bonding mode 1, dialing out of DTE 2, and vice versa, changed the data rates to both 64k, made 2 128k and 1 64k, made both 128k...As far as the ISDN line being configured for out-bound service i have to assume it is since i can connect no problem with a single 64k channel, on either DTE, just not able to get the two channels to bond.

I'm trying to get my hands on a 2x64 Adtran right now. Question: what is the IMUX switch protocol supposed to be set for? You mentioned it displays "Euro ISDN Ready"...

The switch protocol is Euro ISDN because we're using Inmarsat Antennas and our service providers are outside the U.S.

BFontaine, did not mean to leave this unanswered for but although I was able to get a 2x64 IMUX I don't have cables nor the I-Split. Sorry I could not be more helpful...
