Hello all,

I am having some trouble getting our Dell D610 and D620 laptops to work well with the Tandberg VC equipment.

I have tried 1024x768 at 60hz, and the picture will not come up on the display when you toggle the output there.

If I connect a projector to the laptop, it works fine - it seems to be an issue with the Tandberg units seeing the output from the laptops.

Any help would be appreciated - I tried to contact Tandberg via their tech support link but no one replied.

Thanks

Did you try ye olde 800 x 600? This and 1024x768 work fine with a TB 6K MXP but I'll try it on an 880 MXP (should be a twin to your 990) and see what happens...

BTW, are Dells all you have to work with as a presentation PC source?

I have a Latitude D620 and it works fine with my older 880 MXP. Is the laptop set for single or dual display? I have seen this be an issue when trying to output.

This could be due to that the majority of systems detects what resolution to use using EDID, the Dell Latitude D620 and possibly other Dells running with Intel Driver don't.

Try the following:

Press "Ctrl+Alt+F12" and select monitor settings.

Now you must select 'Full Screen without Edges' the select 'use'.

Does it work now?

Also check the frequency of the "Screen Refresh Rate" on the laptop - Perhaps a different setting will work...
