Guys I was wondering if anyone from the UK could tell me their experience in upgrading to MPLS?

I want to know the costs involved (setup fees, annual fees, etc) as well as the names of the provider/s used.

Basically we are a fully Tandberg-centric company. We have a central site in London, and 50 branch offices, spread across the uk. All branch sites currently use 1meg SDSL (ISDN backup)

We're close to having 90% of our endpoints having HD, and have just invested in a Codian and VCS, and I am trying to put together a proposal to suggest moving towards a fully-meshed MPLS network, but I need to understand the whole pricing structure.

Any comments on this would be much appreciated :-)

Hey Buddy,

Not from the UK but..

MPLS is great, ours is fibre delieverd from the exchange and presented on a Fast/Gig Ethernet PE port.

What kind of bandwidth are u wanting?

Some providors charge big fees/service charges with stuff like QOS on links and upping your bandwidth to higher amounts once established.
