Is it possible to set a MGC 100 to take clocking from the LAN?
If so, how is it done?
If the MGC is IP only then you can use Internal timing. Ethernet cannot be used as a clock source. If you are using ISDN or MPI you need to use a TDM clock from one of these sources.
Changing the clocking is done from the System.cfg file. A reboot is required.

So... then where do you get your secondary clock source from if you are only on IP?
Just curious.
There is a option in the system.cfg file that allows you to have one clock
SYSTEM_NORMAL_WITH_SINGLE_CLOCK_SOURCE = YES
I just checked and it's one of the hidden option in the config.sys file.
Try this. Back your configuration, look for the system.sys file in the back-up, make the change using Notepad, save it, and then restore the configuration.
This should stop the major error I assume you are getting.
Good luck
