Can anybody, please, point me to the FW Traversal product by Polycom? I'll have then to compare it with RADVision PathFinder and Tandberg Border Controller.
Right now it seems their VBP is not something we need. Is it the only thing they have? I can't find any spec for that. :tired:

Thanks.

I believe this is the Polycom V2IU product.
From Tandberg this is the Tandberg Expressway line.

Unfortunately the V2IU seems to be obsolete. VBP is a new name for the same, but I cannot find any technical spec for that.

And TBG Expressway is the Border Controller.

Thanks for help.

And TBG Expressway is the Border Controller.

TANDBERG Expressway is a concept name for our firewall traversal technology that includes the 'server' software in the VCS and Border Controller and the 'client' software in the VCS, GK and video devices like endpoints, MCUs, Gateways etc. It is much bigger than just the Border Controller.

I know, Sean. My concern is H.460 now. As long as the BC supports it, I don't care about the Expressway.

... I don't care about the Expressway.

I assume you mean you do not care about the VCS because it also does SIP? Again, Expressway is an umbrella term that describes all of the products, not just the BC.

We're looking for the way to replace the good old VPN with something. So we review all the available H.460-based solutions.

Right now we're leaning toward the RV PathFinder.

V2IU is in the process of being rebranded as VBP, and the documentation may not have caught up yet. If you're interested in exploring Polycom's firewall traversal functions or seeing a demo, you should chat with your sales channel about the combined V2IU / VBP product line.

I didn't know this is an OEM product. Cool. Thanks!
