Hi all,

I have to set up a multisite call in a few weeks. All the units are internal but due to network restrictions on two they will have to be done over ISDN.

In the run up I have been making some test calls via TMS (all units are Tandberg) but it seems if connection fails to one unit, the call doesn't happen. I can't find a log to say why the connection isn't failing.

Alternative is to go via the Codian MCU directly as schedule the call, any recommendations?

If you open the failed conference in the conference control center and click on the "event log" tab next to the participants tab and you should see exactly why the call is failing. Click the open as text and than pasted the log here and it will be much more useful.

It sounds to me that you have an ISDN participant set as a VC master, but that is just speculation.

Try adding the MCU as a participant. If you have multisite capable endpoints in the meeting then TMS will try to use them to build the multisite call. If you add the MCU as a participant, then it will be the master system.

Wes

That depends entirely on your configuration.

Specifically the IP and ISDN zones that are assigned to the EP/MCU's.
