The PCS TL50 using the inbuilt mic when connected to a PolyCom HDX8004 on IP at 302Kb seems to have a problems in that the audio received from the Sony delivers a constant low level hum, and an intermittent very high frequency tone. There is intermittent echo even when echo cancelling is switched on. The audio fades after a while whther the person using the Sony is sitting close to or far from the screen to the point where it disappears.
The audio received at the Sony from the HDX is rock solid and true. No significant errors appear onhte line.
