Who makes the camera that you get with the PVX software?

and it's not the ViaVideo II camera anymore right?

The IREZ K2r USB 2.0 from GlobalMedia Group, LLC came with our PVX's.

Of course, it is a matter of opinion, but the IREZ we have is in a clear plastic casing where you can see the inner pieces.....it seems to be less expensive and sturdy than any Logitech. We've already had a couple of them break in various places, including the little board/chips within the camera breaking loose.

the camera that comes with the pvx package is a like a $10 walmart webcam
