View Full Version : MGC+100 system.cfg access problem

Hi All,

I am using
MGC +100 ver 8.0.0.27 ,MCMS Ver 8.0.0.128,
Dongle MCU Ver 8,Utility ver 7.0.0.7
with cards listed below:
NET-2 1
Video + 8 1
IP + 48 1
Audio+12/24 1
Mux+10 1

I am unable to access MCU Utils.
I m in need of urgent help.

If you're using port 5001 to access the bridge from your MGR and FTP is OFF in the system.cfg then you'll get 'A connection to the server cannot be established'. Log off, right-click on your bridge name and select PROPERTIES->ADVANCED and change port-number to 80. Restart your MGR and you should be able to edit the system.cfg. Depending on whether you're running XPEK or PSOS you turn FTP on differently in the system.cfg.

For PSOS, in the system.cfg->util-password section setting psos-net-util=yes turns FTP ON.
For XPEK, in the system.cfg->XPEK section setting FTP=YES turns FTP ON.
