VSX 6000 and ceiling mics

We have a VSX6000 and two ceiling mics. The second mic will not work. We have swapped the mic and the box it attaches to and as long as its' the first mic off the VSX it works but neither will work as second mic. First mic works fine.

there is 50' cable between codec and Visual Concert
a 30' to first mic and a 30' to second mic (110' total)

all cable have the magnet, all towards the Polycom side.

Any thoughs as to why the second mic will not work?

Have you gone into the Codec to make sure the 2nd mic input is turned on in the software??

Try that and let me know what happens.

Guys, answer is VSX 6000 can only have one ceiling mic.

If you incorporate a Vortex EF2280 which is a Matrix mixer....you can have additional mics interface with the VSX. Polycom carries this unit.
