View Full Version : Global Video Solution + Integration with OCS

Hello, I work for a medium size global company with ~4200 employees, and we have a new initiative to expand our video conference service. Our requirements range from HD and SD video, wireless capability for mobility around manufacture plants, point to point, multipoint, IP and ISDN, integrations with Outlook calendar, OCS, and management tools. We have attended a demo from Tandberg and Cisco and so far Tandberg has met all of our requirements. We're also planning to check out Polycom's demo in a few weeks. We're about to check out LifeSize but their network infrastructure and MS integration is pretty weak. Has anyone successfully implemented a global video solution that integrates with Exchange and OCS? What video vendor (Tandberg, Polycom, etc) did you use and why? What are some (if any) lesson learn? Thank you!

Yes, Tandberg with OCS and Exchange as a meeting room scheduler. I'd recommend using a dedicated meeting room scheduler.

Never used Polycom, but my colleage did and he prefers Tandberg...
