How could I use video email?

I have many queries regarding video email. What are the benefits of Video Email? How could I use video email? Who are the providers? Please help.

I think the logitech software comes with an e-mail app, so does Polycom PVX. Basically, you are recording a short video message instead of typing out what you want to say. I used to use it to send e-mails to my children when I was traveling, but for most purposes I prefer video or audio for interactice communications, and the written word when I need to send communications with limited or delayed feedback such as e-mail. So for me, video e-mail is a novelty, but then again, I never leave more than my name and phone number on voice mail.
