Sometimes the individuals at the other end report seeing a lightning bolt icon in the corner of the TV screen after I initiate a call from my end to their end.

What the heck does that lightning bolt icon mean?

I can't find any documentation on it.

Forgot to add...

After we initiate a call from our end -- SOMETIMES -- we connect and it stays connected for just about five or ten seconds and then is suddenly disconnected.

Could the firewall security on the other end be causing this?

Lightning bolt indicates that the IP network you're using is experiencing either packet or frame loss during your H.323 call. I'd be inclined to look at that firewall your call is traversing. Hopefully one of the Network gurus here on the boards can chime in and diagnose your issue.

And if your network is ISDN, it indicates possible network errors along the path.

Well, we're not using ISDN. We're IP. So... I suspect the packet loss theory may be correct.
