Hello again.

Is it possible to see where (at what stage) of the IP line pocket loss happens? We just moved premises and now the vc system is connected to the WAN line through internal network in the building. Pocket loss is through the roof, but because we changed internet provider too I am not sure whether it's the building network or the provider that causes it..

The system is the same but the location is different. Distance from the exchange is only slightly longer.

Thank you

you can try the pathping command from any pc

pathing IP address

at least it could give you some idea where packets are lost along the way . hope it helps

You say your in a new office and have changed service providers.
1st, has you infrastructure equipment (switches, routers) changed during the move.. Port settings at the switch and vtc are important and can be a possible cause of your latency..
2nd, did you have any QOS setup on the WAN before the move and if so, was this information translated to your new service provider.

One test you can do is call a unit on the LAN and see if you still have latency issues. If so, check switch settings, camera settings, matching vlans settings (if in use).

Then make a video call over your LAN. If your have problems there you can talk to the service provider about tracking the video traffic over the WAN..
