I know there is a tele-medicine section but I wanted to post here because it pertains more to learning and lecture rather than clinical.
Does anyone know of any kind of periodic, reoccuring lectures that behavioral health providers might find interesting or beneficial and can attend via VTC?
I would absolutely love to find a forum or some kind of centralized place for information like this!

Unique features of the program include the use of distance learning for the six core courses, including interactive videoconferencing and web-enchanced teaching. Elective courses may be taken at any of the partner universities. Core courses are taught on Saturday to accommodate working students.
CEOMPH is accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health.

thank you. I will pass it along to my clients to generate interest. The VTC setup here is still a fairly new thing.

Video conferencing is the best way to learn and research on medical. many scientists and doctors succeeded in video conferencing. You can learn through this way. Medical is the practical think, so this method is very helpful to Medical.

We also use our units for Peer to Peer Consultation and Peer to Peer review which is a type of distance learning. A panel of Doctors will do as we call it Case Review. They will look at a case for that intern and point out what he/she could have done for the patient or what they did and how they could improve on services. Usually during that time the other students are in the room learning what could be done for that patient and how it might relate to future patients. Behavioral Health is not an exact science so the more you learn about one of the largest organs in the body and understand it the better you can serve you customer.
