I have a quick question about the Polycom CX5000. I understand this is a Microsoft OCS product, but can this be hooked up via USB to your PC, install drivers for it and be used in other products as a USB Camera?
Just curious as this would be awesome with some other stuff we use.

Yes you can. I run one sometimes as my main web cam. On my Win7 laptop I can even use the panoramic view within a H.323 conference as well.
Also, great for audio conf calls as well.
The drivers for the unit are within the Live Meeting Desktop client.

Awesome to hear. I'd like to try it out with various H.323 clients for Windows XP (Like vPoint or the old Polycom PVX). Trying to think of anything else I should try it with.
