To all:
I just wanted to let everyone know that I am looking for your input into this forum. I will be posting a review of the VCON HD3000 today or tomorrow, but I need your help.
Being in the reseller community, I can get some product for review, but not everything.
I would ask that if you have availability of new hardware and software that you consider writing a review and posting it here.
Remember "knowledge is good" or is it "beer is good"?

I'd certainly be interested in hearing what others think of the HD3000. I'm waiting on a couple of eval units right now. 4 Mbps and and an MCU for under four grand sounds REALLY good. I'm hoping it performs as well as it sounds.

I saw the unit at the Texas Distance Learning Association Conference in Galveston last month. I want to know if the 60field/sec was also
transmitting at 4xCIF. I'm looking for motion VGA but not only in People + Content, or dual streaming mode.

I got a look at the HD3000 a couple of weeks ago. Love the HD. Looked outstanding on our plasma. VCON stopped by our office and gave us a demo. I was running in and out fighting fires, but from what I saw of the demo the unit worked very well. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to play with all of the functions. Love the sexy case. I am twisting arms to get one in house.

I'd be definitely interested in a review of the new VCON HD3000 unit. That price point seems intriguing.
I have a VCON Vigo at my desk (among other VCs setups for testing etc...) My two cents on VCON, they handle heavy network traffic better than others (assuming no QOS on the network for H.323). My pet pieve with the Vigo is the fagility of the USB connection to (in my case) the laptop. I've seen that type of connectivity issue with other people's Vigos also. Obviously the HD3000 is a different type of system, but I'm just in a sharing mood.
