I just joined this forum and would like to introduce myself. I'm Ned Chaney from Reno, NV. I work for NV School of Medicine in the IT dept and my major responsiblity is Video Conferencing for the School of Medicine. We have 41 sites (about 16 when I came here so I've installed quite a few) in rural hospitals, clinics, and School of Medicine admin offices all over the state of Nevada, so the job includes a bit of travel. I'm looking forward to reading what you all have to say, and getting to know all of you. B)

Welcome to the forums! Since the profile viewer of this board doesn't give a whole lotta info (I plan to add a bio field later) how about everyone who who's interested coming here and posting a little about yourself? Just go to the Introductions Page (http://www.vtctalk.com/index.php?&act=SF&f=20) and start a new topic.

It's a great way to let people know your area of expertise and hey, you may meet an old friend or make a new one ;)

Hey Ned,
I've also recently joined the group. I work for Oklahoma State University as the coordinator of technical services. I currently have two fully loaded Accord MGC 100 with IP and 320-ISDN capabilities, 10 VS4000 and multiple other view stations and FX units under my fingertips, as well as many ITV classrooms and conference rooms, we also provide tech support for all clients and potential clients. We have one test polycom that is alway on in our Master Control.

So what kind of systems do you have, maintain, and install
