Hi All,
My name is Gareth and I work for the NHS (National Health Service) in the North of Scotland (U.K). I am a Video Conference Technician and look after 50+ units (Sony, Polycom and Tandberg) as well as a Tandberg MCU (16+ 16).
I have only been in this position for 9 months and prior to this job I worked as an Audio Visual Technician, which is where I first came into contact with V/C.
Most of our units are connected using ISDN6 and are attached to our internal telephone systems (which are all connected together using a cable and wireless VPN).
This provides us with Free call's between our hospitals/health centres but also brings us with problems in reliability!
Thanks
Gareth
