Default CUCM 8.6.2 & VCS X7.1 SIP Trunk

Hi, i have followed the instructions to integrate CUCM & VCS and calls are working great between them.

Is there a way to pass the caller DN description from the CUCM to the VCS rather than just seening e164number@cucmip arriving on the called endpoint so they actually know the name of the person who is calling them?

Hi,

try to configure the display caller id (with the name you want) within the line parameters of your device in UCM - that should work

Kind Regards

.... and, does this work for you? If what you want is to replace the caller id to an alphanumeric URI you will need to use findme, defining the caller id as you want (much likely as findme URI)

Cheers
