Default How Does an AV Port Work?

In the video industry, an AUDIO-VIDEO port is any interconnection that carries music and video signals, either into or out of online video equipment. Such ports have a number of forms with regards to the signal format being transported such as:
Composite online video and audio tracks on 3 RCA or phono fittings
Scart connectors found on European equipment for composite resin or RGB signals
Element and music on 5 RCA fittings
BNC fittings carrying SDI (studio primarily based rather than domestic)
HIGH DEFINITION for digital video and audio

Connectors such as VGA and DVI are also included even though are totally only video ports.

The red and white RCA plugs on the cable from the set top box correspond to the L&R connections on the speakers. Red is right, white is left. You should not need any other wiring. You may need to select the audio output of the set top box correctly as the audio may be set to output on the HDMI only. Try it and see.The red and white RCA plugs on the cable from the set top box correspond to the L&R connections on the speakers. Red is right, white is left. You should not need any other wiring.
