Question Disabling External Speakers

Has anyone been able to successfully disable the use of external speakers on the Tandberg 1700 to force the use of headsets?

Not having a 1700MXP to try this on I'm not 100% sure if it will work, but you could try the following:

* Ensure that Headset Mode is active on the unit.

* Using the CLI disable the 'Cabinet' key to prevent users from switching between headset and built-in speakers. The command you want is:

xConfiguration Key Cabinet: Off

* Test the unit to see if this works as expected.

Hopefully that will work for you on the 1700MXP, as it works for us, in reverse, ie preventing accidental activation of headset mode when there's no headset attached, on the 1000MXP.
