Default Tandberg sending fuzzy computer graphics

I have a 6000, connecting at 384 on ISDN and the computers shows up at the far end as fuzzy. I've tried a number of computers and it happens when connecting to different endpoints. Tandberg says I need more bandwidth. Anyone?

Lightbulb One thing maybe

Have you tried changing the resolution of the computer display. The administrators manual shows the following resolutions being supported:

Native PC Resolutions:
XGA (1024 × 768 pixels), Digital Clarity
SVGA (800 × 600 pixels), Digital Clarity
VGA (640 × 480 pixels), Digital Clarity

Wide (16:9) Resolutions:
w720p (1280 × 720 pixels)
w576p (1024 × 576 pixels)
w448p (768 × 448 pixels)
w288p (512 × 288 pixels)

We use 1024 × 768 here and the images look fine, the caveat there is if you are sending a 4x3 picture to a 16x9 display there will be some picture qualith degradation due to conversion.

Another thing to check is to ensure that the administrator settings>call quality>video quality>PC setting is set to sharpness.

Regards,

Wes

Default

We saw this from a legacy 6000 sending graphics. I believe the SYSTEM CONFIGURATION->SETTINGS->CALL QUALITY->VIDEO setting was set for MOTION. Changing it to AUTO cleaned up the graphics.

Default Fuzzy Graphics.....

Yup, thats correct changing the video from motion to sharpness will clear it up. I do believe the newer software update has an option to choose Dynamic as well, I'm not sure how that differs from auto; but do know it works well in in both.....
